Pet care experience
I love all animals! I have been the manager of a dog boarding and day care facility for several years. I have always loved interacting with the doggos one on one and learning all of their unique personality quirks. I have been rescuing and rehabilitating exotic animals for quite some time and would love to also spoil your birds, reptiles, and small mammals! I grew up on a farm in Maryland, so I have experience with large animals. I have such a passion for animals that I will take care of any animal -- from an ant to an elephant! (Okay, maybe not an elephant -- they won't fit in my home). I have delivered everything from kittens to foals, so I'm also uniquely qualified to monitor your gestating pet.

My two pups love Dawn. Even my terrier who is very selective with his humans! She is very reliable, good with communication and we are very thankful to have her staying with our tail waggers when we travel.
Dawn was great! She stopped in to let my dog out during a work day I would be out a long time- she even sent pictures! Will definitely be using her again.
I had been nervous to leave my fur babies after some behavioral difficulties. Dawn came highly recommended and my crew took right to her. She was able to manage my arc and impressed with her thoughtfulness while watching them. Excellent communication and I received pictures on every visit. She went above and beyond my expectations from previous sitters and would highly recommend her to others and will definitely use her again.
I have 4 dogs, and I'm pretty sure at this point they love Dawn more than me. She is good with so many different animals, I've been to her house many times and it's full of animals that are loved and pampered. She will treat your animals just as well as she does her own.

I'm a very active person and I've hiked with dogs all around Richmond. I've also taken leisurely strolls by the river with dogs who are less active. Is your doggo a couch potato? I enjoy quiet snuggle sessions too.
