Dawn was super with my 2 cocker spaniels...they felt right at home. She provided daily updates and can tell she and her family truly love dogs. I highly recommend and will definitely board my dogs with her again.

This was our first time using Rover and Dawn really set our minds at ease. Our two dogs were well taken care of and enjoyed the company. Thanks for treating our fur babies as your own!

Dawn was very professional as well as sweet and patient with our fur baby - especially since he can be a little vocal when he is anxious or excited. She sent us lots of pictures and updates. Roscoe had a good time and came home nice and tired from playing with dawn's dogs.

Dawn's Basehor dog boarding

Hi, I'm a wife, mother, dog owner of 17 years. Our home provides a family atmosphere, large fenced yard, plenty of room to play, go for walks etc. Our sons are older teens and we have 2 female dogs. Our 1st family dog we had about 15 years, she was a rescue dog, Border Collie & Blue heeler mixed. Our 2nd dog we've had like 5 years now, also a rescue dog from shelter, she's ...

What Dawn would like to know about your dog

All dogs must come to our home with a carrier or pen, collar, and leash, food and highly suggested a familiar toy or blanket.
We have two dogs that live with us; part of our family and I may have other guest dogs staying over. If your dog has social issues getting along with other dogs that you are concerned about, while I can sympathize, it may be better for you to book a trial day by using my daycare services and see if things are a good fit. This is the solution I offer to nervous pet parents worried about leaving their dog overnight for an extended trip. A trial day allows me time to give attention to your dog in a home atmosphere but he/she gets to go back home later with you, no overnight, and you can (hopefully) make a better decision about booking your extended holiday away.
Please consider, meet and greets are not a service, they are a courtesy that must work out schedule wise for the both of us and be five minutes tops, therefore, it's not a solution to ease your nerves for a dog with social issues, I cannot stress this enough.

When Dawn watches your pet

Dogs go out to large yard often where they can run, chase, breathe fresh air, roll in grass or get some rays and play fetch the ball/stick/Frisbee if they want to.
