Quiet pet retreat with loving care
Pet care experience
My husband and I are both dog lovers. I have had dogs for most of my life, and we currently have one senior lab who is very mellow and gets along well with other dogs. We both work full-time during the week so our dog spends time during the day in our large backyard, weather-permitting. However, we are generally at home in the evenings and on weekends. Since we have no children, our girl gets our full attention and love. Any visitors would be treated just like family.

Dawn did such a wonderful job keeping us posted on our pup while we were traveling. She treated our dog as her own. From the daily pictures Dawn sent us, it looks like our Tasha had just as much fun as we did on vacation!

There was ample yard space for her to stretch out and play. Dawn's home was clean and welcoming. Bailey settled in and was quite comfortable during her stay. Our family felt comfortable knowing that our dog was in a loving home. Dawn and her husband were the perfect hosts!

Since our dog is older, we would prefer dogs that are more mellow in personality. However, all dogs with good manners are always welcome! Please provide food, dog dish, leash, favorite treats, and any toys/blankets that will make them feel most comfortable during their stay with us. If your dog is used to a crate, please bring it. We will ask for dogs to be up-to-date on rabies and distemper shots and under routine veterinary care.
