Dogs love to be walked and I enjoy walking..... it's a perfect partnership! I've always been a cat lover, but when I married my husband 6 years ago, I fell in love with his Lab/Red Bone Hound mix that had been rescued. I am now a dog lover and understand why people consider their dogs to be a member of their family! Our dog, Jersey Girl had never been walked on a regular basis until I was in her life, and now anticipates her walks every day. She loves to be brushed and enjoys catching her toys when I throw them. I have a special twinkling light that I hang on her collar for our walks at night. She's a bit on the spoiled side, I made her a custom Christmas collar with bells on it that she wears during the holiday season.
