I have 2 border collie mixed girls of my own, both kept completely up to date on shots and vaccines. We feed ours twice a day. Both of our girls are crate trained when we are not home and at bed time for safety sake since they are young. I have baby gates up over areas needed to also keep them safe or out of areas they don't need to be (like basement or bedrooms lol)! We don't feed them people food, but some times i give them fresh snacks like carrot chips, cantaloupe, green beans, other safe fruits n veggies or plain meat like beef (but rarely) as much as I can, but fun dog treats too (except chicken due to one of mine being allergic). I do know the poisonous foods n plants as well as dangerous oils/scents, etc and take care to not have them around them.
