Pet care experience
I have worked 20+ years in veterinary hospitals as a veterinary assistant. I know how to and am comfortable administering oral and injectible medications. I am willing to work with any breed of dog. I prefer taking care of dogs in their homes so there is less anxiety about being in a new place. I've seen the stress that is put on dogs when they are taken to a boarding facility and it breaks my heart to see them so sad. I try to make them as comfortable as I can and gain their trust. My dog loves Dawn! We have a shy girl who is often very timid around the humans she meets for the first time. Dawn was very sensitive to this and before long they were snuggling on the floor together and had become the best of friends. In the years I've known her, Dawn has shown kindness and compassion for animals of all kinds time and time again. She absolutely knows what she's doing and I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

I would prefer to have your dog updated on core vaccines. (Rabies, distemper). Please have your pet on flea and tick preventions. If your pet has special needs or takes medication please let me know so I can work it into the schedule. No aggressive dogs.

We love to play catch and keep away! If you would like me to take them for walks, our neighborhood is dog friendly with lots of good smells!
