Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of other people's pets for the past two years. I helped my older dog pass away peacefully at home and I’m so glad we got to keep her home and make her as happy as possible
Reviews
Dawn is very caring and dependable. I absolutely love getting pictures of our dog.
Dawn was very attentive to our dog. She made 2 pre-visits to ensure that our dog was comfortable with a new pack member. She also made sure to take a photo of her visits.
Dawn is a loving caring pet sitter and owner. She took great care of my cat while I was away. I recommend her highly.
Dawn is wonderful! She sent lots of photos and video of our dog enjoying his time with her and her dog. She followed his care instructions well. I would definitely use Dawn again!

I have a whole house generator that turns on automatically in the event of a power outage. I have crates if needed, extra leashes for walks, and a dachshund who would love a playmate. I meet the visiting pet alone and take them into the house to get acclimated prior to meeting my dog. Then we all meet outside to get to sniff and relax, where we go on a long walk together to make friends. We play in the house and encourage sniffing and exploring outside. I have plenty of toys in the toy box your baby is allowed to search through. I monitor while playing or eating and keep animals separated during feeding times. We cuddle on the couch. Visiting fur babies sleep upstairs with my 14-year-old, Henry gets my bed, alone. I have a finished basement that I work in during weekdays, your pet is allowed to stay with me while I work. Most dogs just sleep next to me while I work, and then we take frequent breaks during the day.

Information Dawn C. would like to know about your pet
What type of toys does your dog like best? What are their routines? Do they tell you when it’s time to potty or go out at regular intervals? Are they aggressive towards other dogs on walks or just in general? Do they sleep with humans, in a bed , or in a crate?
A typical day
We will go on frequent walks around my wooded, scenic area. We will play with balls or other toys in the house and cuddle on the couch. While I work in my finished basement, there’s a crate for comfort if needed, or they can just lay next to me on a padded mat. The stairs to the basement are carpeted. Henry will always get a game of chase going!

Availability
I work from home daily and am capable of taking frequent breaks to walk the animals. We take breaks at 9 am, noon and 2 pm. I will do my best to keep your dog's schedule the same as at home to avoid disruption. I can take small to medium dogs up to 30 lbs due to the size of my house and the energy requirements for larger dogs.
