Flexible Schedule, Cats & Dogs!
Pet care experience
Over the past 20 years, I've taken care of puppies, kitties, senior cats and dogs, and all other ages in between. Outside of "baby" sitting I've personally raised and trained two pomeranians, one pomsky, one sheltie, and have fostered four cats. I've never met a furbaby I haven’t liked - from the most energetic pups to the shyest cats, and every personality in between. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to take care of their fur babies and I follow any and all special instructions diligently. I would love to work with you and your little love(s).
Reviews
Davonna did a phenomenal job house sitting and caring for my cat during a week that I was away. I received frequent updates that demonstrated how well cared for and comfortable my cat was while I was away. They clearly formed a quick bond and had lots of playtime! Davonna made sure she was well prepared and asked thoughtful questions prior to starting. I returned home to a clean, well cared for home and a happy cat. I would highly recommend Davonna and hope to work with her again in the future!
Davonna is a fantastic pet sitter. Very reliable and loves pets very much, good at following pet instructions, very respectful of our property and reliable throughout her stays. She is by far our favorite person that has stayed at our house to pet sit and has come through for us multiple times when we were in a pinch. She always has been our go to and we're sure she'll wind up on your A list as well.
Davonna pet sat for our Romeo many times. She was always punctual to all appointments and extremely courteous. She and our Romeo bonded instantly. She made sure he got the exercise he needed and took time for play and snuggles. She sent us pictures often and there was always open communication whenever we reached out. I would highly recommend her for Rover!

Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
Before the assigned care-taking time I like to meet with clients to get to know them, get an overview of the home/property, and learn the rules of the house. When possible, and relevant, I also like written instructions if a pet has special needs. I find this prep work helps everyone be on the same page and causes as little disruption for your cat(s) and doggo(s).
Information Davonna A. would like to know about your pet
I have experience taking care of cats and dogs with special health needs. I prefer brief written instructions to make sure I am checking all the boxes to keep your little love(s) healthy, strong, and happy. I find it's also helpful if you share your prefered vet and/or animal hospital with me in advance of visits in the unlikely case of an emergency. I can administer oral medication but I do not do injections.
A typical day
I believe providing mental and physical activities everyday is important. I learn the personalities of the dogs I work with and make sure they are getting the stimulation they need to burn off energy and explore the world around them.
