Fitz&Fun Doggie Care

Pet care experience

Hello there. My name is Davita and I recently moved to Colorado/Denver area. My husband is in the Military and was stationed out here. We came from New Hampshire, and combined we had 5 family dogs that we had to part with to come here. They still live back home with each of our parents. His family owns/ed (besides living on a farm) a Chihuahua, Border Collie (just passed away), and a German Shepherd/St. Bernard mix (big boy, over 80lbs), Mine has a Lab/Husky mix, and a Husky/Hybrid mix who I trained since he was a puppy (also big boy, over 80lbs). I've also helped train my best friend's purebred German Shepherd, and helped by giving multiple visits to my local animal Shelter back home. I absolutely loved all animals, but especially dogs! We helped fill some of the void of needing companionship with a kitten who is now about 4 months old and acts like a dog himself. He gets baths (real baths!), plays fetch and has a little harness and leash of his own. He's very laid back and loves to play! I work from home, I am a CPT (certified personal trainer) and do mostly online training with clients. So they'll never have to be too lonely. And as being big into fitness and staying active, I can give them as much exercise as you want/they need. I am also okay with doing/giving raw diets to dogs/animals that are on them. I do/did this with my Hybrid because he couldn't keep down dry dog food. That included giving him vitamins through a powder which was sprinkled on top of usually rice, veggies, some type of ground meat, and most of the time with some organs such as liver, kidney, or heart, pig's feet, turkey necks, or tripe. So that won't gross me out at all! With that being said it might be a little more, unless I'm being supplied with the items. Any cooking comes free! Additionally I'm alright with having to give medications as well. Whether it's topical treatments, oral medications, or having to inject them, I also do believe in timeouts if they have done something naughty. Either a little bit of crate time. Or having them just lay down for a little while with no play time. No abuse though! That's definitely not my place to give them a tap on the nose. But however they are trained at home is fine by me. All in all, I'm just a young adult who has been surrounded by animals her entire life and that's something that is lacking in my new life here in CO. So I'd love to help out in anyway I can! And maybe some extra income to help pay off my student loans. Thanks for giving this a read!

Davita and her husband were great! They were easy to do a meet and greet with and our dogs took to them right away. When we dropped them off Davita had another dog (she had told us well ahead of time) that she was watching so our girls had a friend to play with. She sent us pictures of the dogs throughout the stay and took them to the dog park right before we picked them up so they were nice and tired for the ride home!

Davita is exceptional! Look no further for a dog sitter as she is your gal! My little man had a great time with her- parks, walks, hikes, etc! She even bathed him before I picked him up. She is the best choice and you will not regret it! Thanks Davita :)

Davita was awesome with our dogs, and made us feel like she would take good care of them. We did a meet and greet and she was honest with terms of the weekend we wanted to book. We got our dogs back and they were happy and exhausted. We'll certainly be booking with her again in the future.

Davita is really nice and we would recommend her to everyone that travels and needs a sage place for their pets. They had a great time with her. She took the dog out on multiple walks and has a big park right around tge corner. She also sends picture to show that the pets enjoy their vacation as well. We will definitely book her again for our next trip. Davita was always very quick in responding before, during and also after our trip. I'm happy we found such a nice person!
