Pet care experience
Hi my name is Davis and thank you for checking out my profile. I currently live in the Natomas area and know it can be tough to take care of your babies. If you need a relief day, night out, or a vacation consider me for assistance. I have been around animals nearly my entire life from the age of 6 to my 30s. Dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, gerbils, fish, and etc. If it’s a pet that the average to not so average person has had, likely means I have taken care of it in the past. My goal with Rover is to be a caretaker for your pets as if I was like their fun Uncle (Funcle). Whether it’s me visiting them or them visiting me, you can always say “you’re about to see Uncle Davis”. Whether it’s pet walking or pet sitting I want to be the Uncle they are looking forward to seeing. I have taken care of friends and families pets for a while now while having my own 2 cats! I live in a walkable complex that has a huge yard/park in the area. Any questions please feel free to contact me I am always more than happy to answer them as I will be caring for your family member. This was our first time using a pet-sitting service and Davis patiently answered all of my questions and even met with us first. Davis sent us photos and updates regularly which was great since we were far. I especially appreciate how much he and his wife went above and beyond to care for Charlie, our foster. We saw how much fun Charlie had making new friends and now he has a new "funcle!" I would recommend Davis to anyone who needs their fur baby to be cared for and to be shown love. Davis was great with Lulu! He was super attentive to her needs and sent lots of updates on her stay. I especially appreciated that he gave real updates & photos. Lulu got plenty of walks and exercise. I will definitely rebook!
Had to find a sitter last minute and Davis had an opening. He was really great in taking care of my pup. I have a senior dog so I am very particular of who takes care of him. I was worried about stairs and saw that he had every floor gated off, which was a big relief for me. He sent photos and updates without overwhelming me. So just the right amount. At pick up my pup seemed super happy and made some new friends which was great. I would definitely use him again. Thanks Davis!
Davis is a fantastic sitter! He and his family really made Olive feel at home. Daily walks and photos providing me with comfort seeing her still smiling even when we are not around. I will continue using Davis as our preferred sitter.

I provide full playtime/interaction with the pets, long walks and the attention that is needed to keep them and you satisfied.

I request dogs be potty train but besides that I don't have a breed preference. Any health issues to be concerned about please let me know. I do have two cats at home who are “indifferent” to other animals.
A typical day
My complex has a big yard for dogs to walk on and even a huge loop to take for a walk. I also will be able to take your dog around the block of my neighborhood. Me and your dog will have time to play fetch, tug of war, and cuddle time.
