Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of my friends and family’s pets for over five years. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and rabbits so far. I make sure they’re fed, watered, and litter/poop is cleaned including some that are prone to accidents in the house. I’ve given medication. Some of the dogs I’ve taken care of like to sleep near their people. I’ll make sure they’re settled for the night. During the day, I try to keep dogs engaged somehow at least every couple hours. Petting, play, short walks etc.

I am one of those people that has trust issues with people being alone in my home and especially being alone with my fur babies while I am out of town. I had an international trip I was going to take and needed someone to stay at my home and watch my dog. My dog is a 14 year old terrier that is slowly going deaf and has vision issues. A co-worker of mine recommended David. She had used his services on several occasions and was delighted with him. I decided to take the leap and enlisted his services. I’m glad I did. Long story short, my house was left clean, the way we left it before our trip. My dog was happy when we returned and didn’t ignore me like he does when he’s upset. I will be enlisting David’s services anytime we go out of town and need a home and fur baby sitter. I highly recommend him to others. You won’t be disappointed.😊
David has been so great with our pets when we're out of town. He follows instruction very well and fulfills their needs to a "T." He has built a great relationship with each of them and we're very grateful to him for being so caring. We trust David to take care of all our pets while we're away.
If you are lucky enough to book David as your pet-sitter you will not regret having done so. When we leave for a trip, David has to read and follow at least two pages of single-space typed instructions. We have three dogs, one blind, deaf and almost incontinent who requires meds daily and another who bites. Add to that a bunny who is an escape artist. David handles them all without complaint. He meticulously follows all instructions. He willingly communicates with us when necessary and always responds to any texts we might send him. We feel completely comfortable leaving town when David is in our home with our animals. When we return we always get the feeling that they're sad to see him go!!! On a scale of 1 to 10, David is off the charts!!!
David is excellent! We’ve used him for years to housesit with our two pit bulls. They love him and so do we. He’s extremely responsible, very accommodating, flexible if we’re going to be late or want to leave early. He responds quickly to emails requesting his time. He always leaves the house clean. I recommend him highly; I think he enjoys his doggie customers. Sallie H.
