Pet care experience
I've been using another dog-walking app called BorrowMyDoggy, where I regularly helped a local lady in London over the span of 7-8 months to take care of her Australian Shepherd. I'm quite an active person, and like to bring dogs with me for active outdoor trips. So I'm happy to also take your dog out for runs, play and other active things! I also lived with distant family for about a year which had two dogs which I also regularly took care of. I also grew up with 3 cats and several parakeets at home, and regularly visited my uncle's farm in Sweden which has lots of different animals that I partly helped taking care of (dogs, cats, sheep, horses, cows).

Living very close to a large park in Hertford, I have convenient means of taking your dog out for walks, runs and play. As mentioned, I've grown up with various animals and feel very used to having them around and ensuring they stay happy, whether that be through feeding them appropriately, playing with them or just being with them. I would take care of your pet with exactly the same level of respect and care I have given for other dogs and pets in the past.

If your dog requires any special care or types of food or medicine, please let me know in advance. It would also be very useful for me to know about its typical behaviour around other humans, children, other dogs and animals...etc. For example, if you know I shouldn't approach other dogs too closely with your own (or anything else that your dog feels uncomfortable with), please let me know!
A typical day
I love staying active and doing new things, so would therefore bring your dog along on hikes and runs in new locations. There's plenty of greenery around where I live in Hertford, making it really ideal for outdoors activity (for humans and dogs alike!). If you as the owner is okay with it, I would also love to practice any training with the dog you think it needs, whether that be agility training, trick training, obedience training or socialization training.

I'm working full time, but would still gladly help out during weekday evenings. The best time would however be during weekends, as I don't have other work commitments then.
