Feb24 update: Honey 🍯 has arrived with us and is settling in well. Second round of vaccinations due mid March so will be able to have some of our regulars back from April! Photos of Honey in profile. Jan24 update: We are very excited to say that we get our new puppy in February and will be taking a few months off to settle her in. Will be back to sitting/boarding from September 2024 We lost our chocolate lab of 15yrs and as a family we are saving up to find another pup to bring home. In the mean time we often look after family and friends dogs and coming to Rover seemed an ideal format. We particularly like larger breeds as like me there is more to cuddle. Check out the 100+ photos of the different breeds we have had stay with us. We hold comprehensive dog boarding and services insurance.

Always a pleasure! We’ve actually moved away but still prefer to use David to look after our dog. He has such a great time every time. Not sure he wanted to come home this time lol.
I highly recommend David Dog Boarder! My dog received the care and attention she needed. I was getting daily updates with how my dog were doing and what she had checked/topped up was excellent. Pictures and videos every day helped put me at ease with leaving Stella ( dog ) for an extended period of time, would definitely book him in future.
Always book David whenever we can! Our dog comes back chilled and happy every time. He was so excited to see David and his lovely family.
This was our first time using Rover and David was great. He responded to messages promptly, invited us to bring our two dogs round beforehand, where we got a chance to see how comfortable he was with them, and them with him, and to discuss their routine, etc. We got regular photos & updates during their stay, and they returned very happy dogs. Definitely recommend David.

We have a fenced in garden with Astro so the weather is never an issue. We have chickens fenced in which every dog loves to have a good sniff of. There are also fields and woods close by for walks in the mornings and evenings.

A typical day
We have a large open field near by (which is fenced in on 3 sides) this then leads on to a wood land and meadows. A dip in the river is never off the table nor water sprinkler fun in the garden.

Availability
I work locally, less than 2miles from home, and often from home leaving me plenty of time to take breaks for play time and toilet break. My wife works locally and is out school hours along with my teenage children.
