Paws-itively Trustworthy PetSitter

Pet care experience

I've grown up all my life with pets and animals as long as I can remember. I've watched and sat my families and friends pets for many years now. I can clip their nails, bathe, brush teeth, help train, walk/run and most important is having fun playing with them!

David took care of our 2 year old Bernese Mountain dog, Walter, while were gone for Thanksgiving. We couldn’t have gotten any luckier. He sends lots of updates and makes sure your pup gets what they need. Walter played with David’s super friendly beagle and he even took Walter to his family’s Thanksgiving!! Not to mention, Walter got a special sweet potato Thanksgiving treat. We would totally use David again and recommend to all of our friends :)

David is AMAZING!! I hate leaving my babies anywhere, but they loved him and his wife so much, and their dog Boomer is such a sweet boy too. Definitely will be using him again!!

I had to last minute be out of town for two weeks, and Dave was so quick to help out with checking in on my fiancé's three birds (one Cockatiel, Donut, and two parakeets, Dank and Blue). Dave has previously watched my corgi, Overton (Overton loves seeing Dave), and so it was no surprise that Dave was just as awesome with the birds. He cleaned out both cages, vacuumed the surrounding carpet, refilled water bowls and made sure they had plenty of food. Dave is always happy to help out with your pets as he loves animals and it shows in his quality of service. Highly recommended to anyone in the area! Thanks Dave!

It was wonderful David could help us last minute with watching my golden retriever over the weekend! He did a great job of taking care of my dog and I would definitely recommend him to others!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a relatively large fenced in back yard with a pool (open to dogs!). I have a 5 year old beagle who gets along very well with other dogs and likes to play but mostly sniffs around on his own and sleeps. I'm very attentive while watching others dogs. My wife and I are the only ones here during the day. She is a huge dog lover like me. I don't leave them unattended in the yard and give them close attention (spoil them). I will do two runs (or walks if needed) with them (morning and early evening). Also, they are outside multiple times in the backyard throughout the day. I have a medium - large crate and a corral as well.

Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Information David S. would like to know about your pet

If there is any special diet or food, medication, medical conditions, allergies, behavior to watch for (resource guarding for example). If they get along well with other dogs and people. Expected potty breaks schedule. Training or household expectations (don't want them on furniture for example). Please let me know if they are crate trained or not, I'll most likely be home always but if I need to leave, they must be crated.

A typical day

We would go on a morning and afternoon run or walk (depending on dog) around the neighborhood. Multiple Playtimes in the backyard (pool available in summer). Lots of toys to play and chew on (safety and monitoring always a priority). We sometimes have pupcakes, special treats and doggie ice-cream to share if okayed by pet parent.

Availability

I'm taking a break from the corporate world and focusing on some side projects. In the meantime I want to meet as many new fur friends as I can and have the time to do it. My beagle is currently very spoiled with a lot of attention!
