I grew up with dogs. During my 40 years of professional photography, I wasn't home enough to care for dogs, but I made up for that by specializing in pet photography in the studio. Since leaving the photo business, I've worked for a large dog walking service and lately, I have been busy walking and caring for dogs with a small service in a Chicago neighborhood. I've had the pleasure of caring for a large variety dogs; everything from rescues to rare breeds,from puppies to older dogs. I've found that dogs and I form a deep connection and that's a good thing for the dog and for me and for the owners. They know that their pet is getting the best care possible. It shows.
