Pet care experience
I have grown up with countless dogs and cats of many different breeds my entire life. I have recently been caring for multiple dogs for friends and family and decided to take it more seriously. I can handle any dog or cat and feel comfortable sitting and visiting homes to support the owner's needs! I have an extremely flexible schedule as I'm looking for full time employment. At this time I am willing to take on any sort of position to help those in need for whatever reason. I own a large house in midtown which has plenty of parks nearby to walk and play with dogs. If I am at your home I love getting detailed instructions so I know exactly how to care for your dog in the way YOU want me to.

We returned home from a one-week vacation to an immaculate home (which is challenging considering we have three pets!), and happy dogs and a cat. David was conscientious and attentive to our three fur babies and communicated with us daily. It was wonderful to be able to vacation without worrying about our pets' care. Thank you, David!

David is a great pet sitter! I have always been able to rely on him to look after my large Rottweiler. He goes above and beyond for my girl and it shows every time she rushes to greet him upon our arrival. He has taken the time to take her on extra walks, respects pet parent boundaries such has what treats are allowed, and fits in extra cuddles when she wants them. Every time I have had to be away for work or leisure, I have never worried about her safety or if she is having a great time. My dog loves him and I wouldn’t trust any other individual to look after her and her needs more than David S.!

A typical day
My girlfriend and I often take her dog, Leia (half lab, half rottie) to Mckinley park here in Sacramento. I consistently take care of my mother's dog, Ava (toy poodle). Many of my friends who live in midtown have asked me to pet sit for them while they are on vacation. I never like to take new dogs off leash until I have a better understanding of them and how they interact with people and other pets. I tend to avoid dog-specific parks and instead favor regular parks, but if requested, I have no problem taking dogs to a specific location.
