Pet care experience
I have been the neighborhood dog/cat watcher for several years. Everyone on the block knows that I can come over just about anytime to take care of their pets. Now that I'm retired my neighbors will occasionally contact me to take care of their pets if they are running late. Also, in my younger years I worked on a dairy farm and provided veterinary care for Holstein cows. I have delivered a lot of calves.

David is my cousin. I lived with him for several years so I know what a good guy he is. Ever since I got my own place 20 years ago, he has taken care of my cat when I have been out of town. He took care of my cat, Tilly, until she died about a decade ago. He now takes care of my cat, Mila, when I am traveling. He is very compassionate and responsible. He also helps take care of Buff, a stray kitty in our neighborhood. David also does well with dogs. He has taken care of my nextdoor neighbor's labrador retrievers when she's been out of town. While I was growing up we had two dogs, and David was always good with them. I think David would probably have a pet of his own if his house/yard were larger. He enjoys taking care of other people's pets since he doesn't have any.
Early in the Covid pandemic I was in a situation where I asked David to care for my Rat Terrier Kelce for a month. I had reservations about how she would behave for him since she can be anxious around people she does not know well. Because of David's demeanor towards animals this should not have been a concern. They quickly bonded! Since then, David has continued to help me care for Kelce when I am traveling, visiting my house, walking and feeding her. I highly recommend David for this service with Rover. A typical day
I will find out if there are any special toys that the dog likes to play with and what fun activities they enjoy. I'm fine if they simply want to chill out on the couch, the back yard, or the front porch.

I am retired and live near Monument and Malvern, and have a very flexible schedule. Therefore, my current availability is wide open during the winter months as it is too cold to play golf.
