I'm the kind of person that if I go to a gathering and I see a dog, I check right into bellyrubville. I know how important attention can be for dogs and I want to give all of my free time to making as many dogs feel loved and cared for as possible. My experience is with a shelter puppy, Jacko, we were his third (and final/forever) home. I walked him, groomed him, fed him, loved him and all the essentials (and then some) for about 5 years. Then my dad, who also loves Jacko, suffered from a terrible medical condition which forced him to retire, making him stay at home all day. And since he was home all day with Jacko, I think he needed the support that dogs offer more than I did. But I still have a giant puppy sized hole in my heart! I get so happy and excited when I see a puppy walking down the street, or someone brings a fur baby to work or to a social gathering. They are the most precious angels and I love them all, they are all good boys and girls!
