Muts, Rat Terriers, Goldens, Labs, Shih Tzus, Shih-poos, Pomeranians, Shelties, Cocker Spaniels, Weiner Dogs and yes, even a Chihuahua named Beans. I've looked after all sorts of furry friends. Some could play fetch for eternity, while others would much more prefer just to watch. Yet, neither deserves more or less attention than the other. Nor do they belong in a kennel all day, every day. One thing I have learned about dogs over time is that they are extremely loyal, social animals with unique personalities. And like us, even they sometimes put up a guard to disguise these great qualities... but that's never too much for food and friendliness to overcome. I'll be sure to give your dog the attention it deserves when you are unable to.
