Pet care experience
I have plenty of experience taking care of animals, mostly dogs and cats. I grew up with dogs my entire life and was a house sitter/animal caretaker in my neighborhood for 6 years. I volunteer at PAWS Chicago when I can - Level 1 Dog town volunteer. I've handled many dogs from aggressive to calm and passive so I'm ready for anything. David stayed out our place over the weekend to take care of our beagle, Ella. He was super helpful in coordinating the stay (meeting before to get to know Ella and another time to exchange keys). While we were away he was very responsive. Our place was in great shape when we got home and Ella seemed to have enjoyed the weekend! Would definitely recommend.
David watched our 80 lb lab / pitbull mix , Terry, over Christmas weekend. The night before we left, Terry started to come down with a cough and we were nervous to leave him but David kept us updated throughout the stay with pictures and information on his health. When we picked him up a few days later he was doing better! We would highly recommend David and would love for him to watch Terry again in the future. Thanks David!
Our first sitter with Rover didn't go so well. However, we thought we'd give it another try and we're very happy we did. David was great, from the time we reached out to him through the very end of his Friday-Monday stay at our house with our dog, Murphy. He sent pictures and took Murphy on long walks and adventures to the park. Murph was exhausted when we got home - we could tell he had a great weekend with David. We felt good about David watching Murph and will definitely use David as a sitter again!
David seemed to really enjoy having my dog and when I picked her up, she was tired and had been well exercised (as they say, a tired dog is a good dog). David also sent messages updating me on how things were going. He was a terrific host and I would definitely use him again.
