I have been a dog owner and animal care specialist for more than 10 years. I worked at a zoo for 10 years working closely with a large variety of animals, both domestic and exotic. I have plenty of experience feeding, cleaning, walking, training, and creating/providing enrichment. I’ve worked with dogs and cats, small and large mammals, birds, amphibians & reptiles, fish, and invertebrates. I care deeply for animals and giving them a healthy, enriched life is my passion.

David is friendly, professional and courteous. He visited a few times before we went away to ensure Penny knew him and to gain insight into Pennys eccentricity's. Penny was walked, got lots of fuss and attention and judging by her improved behaviour on our return some training. Penny is an excitable, strong dog whom he managed exceptionally well and I will definitely be contacting him again should it be needed. I felt really comfortable leaving Penny in his care and had a wonderful holiday due to this. 5 stars for everything.
David was courteous and always communicated with us quickly. He was attentive to instructions to looking after Kento and Ola for the day. Would def use him again 🙂
Had a great experience with David and I believe our kitten did as well. David was polite, pleasant and came on time. Would be looking forward to using his services again!
David was fantastic with our lovable but stubborn Sara. We got regular updates as he took care of her for a whole weekend and we knew that she was being well looked after. David is also a joy to communicate with, quickly answering any questions to put us at ease.

A typical day
I love playing with dogs and giving them ample attention. I try to discover each dog’s personality and which games or behaviours they like best or seem to really enjoy. I try to stimulate dogs both physically and mentally. Parks and woods are always great to be outdoors with dogs, or a dog park when possible and if the dog gets along well with other animals and people. I also love playing with dogs with their favorite toys or food puzzles and training them with new behaviours.

Availability
I am a PhD student at Middlesex University researching conservation and the social sciences. As such, I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days, evenings and weekends, other than occasional trips out of town for research or travel.
