Trustworthy dog lovers!
Pet care experience
Since December 2022, Laura and I have wholeheartedly immersed ourselves in the realm of Rover dog boarding and daycare. Our journey has been enriched by accumulating extensive experience. It has been a genuine privilege to encounter a diverse array of owners and their delightful canine companions. Our commitment to excellence is evident in our meticulous meet and greet process. We take pride in selecting dogs that are not only well-trained but also bring a playful and friendly energy to our home. While we normally accommodate around four dogs at once, we prioritize the creation of harmonious groups, matching dogs of similar sizes, and never discriminate based on breed. Working from the comfort of our home allows us to provide unparalleled attention and care throughout the day. Between our work commitments, we seize every opportunity to let the dogs frolic in our pet turfed backyard, engaging in play with toys, socializing with their fellow canine companions, or enjoying quality time with us. A typical day for your cherished pet during their stay with us unfolds seamlessly. The morning starts around 6:00 AM, marked by a venture outdoors for their essential business, followed by breakfast between 6:30 and 7:00 AM. We ensure each dog has their own space during feeding, maintaining a harmonious atmosphere with the help of strategically placed baby gates. During our working hours, Laura and I seamlessly integrate regular outdoor breaks in our pet-friendly backyard. Expect an abundance of photos, videos, and updates throughout the day via the Rover app, keeping you connected with your furry friend's delightful moments. Whether it's the cozy living room, David's basement office, or Laura's upstairs office, our home provides diverse and comfortable spaces for the dogs to relish their time. We even have two toddler beds that were converted into dog beds, which all our furry guests love. We feed the dogs dinner around 5:30-6:00 PM, followed by an evening walk by David. The stroll may take place in the neighborhood or the picturesque Big Dry Creek Park, providing a perfect blend of exercise and relaxation. As the day winds down, the dogs are given the freedom to choose their preferred sleeping arrangements. Most often, they accompany us to our spacious room, settling into our bed or finding a cozy spot nearby. While we welcome dogs on furniture, we respect and adhere to their home rules. To enhance your pet's comfort, we recommend bringing items that hold familiarity, such as toys, beds, blankets, or their crate. This personal touch helps ease their transition and ensures a homey atmosphere. Just be aware that we cannot guarantee any plushies surviving all the fun to be had. Thank you for considering us as caretakers for your beloved companion. We look forward to the opportunity to provide them with a safe, joyful, and loving environment.
Reviews
David & Laura provided my 5 month old pup Ollie with his first daycare & boarding experience, and it couldnt have gone better. I got tons of pictures and updates , and they reached out promptly if they needed some info to provide better care for him. They have been very accommodating of his food habits and sleep routine. Will totally book future stays with them.
David and Laura are great hosts! Big backyard for the pups to play in, accommodating house and location, and plenty of pictures of our pup during the trip. Highly recommend David and Laura for dog boarding!
David and Laura are fantastic dog sitters. Our dog Phoebe loves her time with them every time we leave town and it is an awesome feeling knowing she’s in such great hands and having a blast with the other dogs!
David and Laura are like Skye’s second parents! We trust them fully and know that our girl will come home happy, tired and smiley every single time!

Information David & Laura S. would like to know about your pet
We would love to know if they have any allergies and if they have a strict food schedule that you like them to follow. Additionally, if your dog is crate trained and you want that to stay consistent, please let us know.
