Pet care experience
As long as I can remember I have always loved animals. I grew up with 3 dogs and from a young age I was active in caring for, playing with and loving them. I even convinced my parents to let me get a puppy when I was 13! I was responsible for her training, walks, and general care and it was so rewarding to grow up with her. After moving to DC and having to leave her behind with my parents, working with animals was an easy choice for me to make. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments - from chihuahuas that “don’t like anyone” to greyhounds that need daily medication and monitoring. I bring a calm energy and personalized attention and will be your pups best bud when you can’t be there! I will make sure your pet is receiving the best care, whether it's walks around your neighborhood, or boarding and daycare at your dogs new home away from home!

I couldn't have had a better experience with David and his housemates. They accepted my last-minute request, introduced my dog to the other dogs in a way where she would feel comfortable, and kept me up-to-date on how my dog was doing throughout her stay. I hadn't left my dog with a sitter in six months, so I was nervous going in. David and his wonderful housemates made me feel completely at ease and took great care of my pup. I hope to continue leaving her with David when I go out of town.
David has stepped in a couple of times for me while Pepper's regular dog sitter was away. She has an awesome time with David and is excited when she sees him. Pepper is a Cudler and David gives her all the snuggles she wants. So much love and attention!
Davey took good care of our 5 year old, 65 pound dog Louie. Louie has been struggling a bit with separation anxiety but there are lots of people (and a small Chihuahua) at Davey's group house, so he had lots of company and attention. He ate all of his meals and was a very happy/tired boy when we picked him up. Davey did not send photos or check-in texts initially but whenever I reached out he responded promptly to let me know that Louie was doing well. Thanks, Davey!
