Pet care experience
Hello, my name is David and I’m 26 and currently stay in the city centre of Aberdeen. I am available to help with any of your pets needs and I have 10+ years experience of owning my own animals. I have had lots of different pets growing up such as hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, a snake, leopard gecko, cats, frogs, rabbits etc… I have looked after a load of my friends animals over the years because I absolutely adore all animals, I could spend all day with them honestly as it’s so therapeutic. Animals are amazing creatures, we are so lucky to have them! I pick up new skills and learn new things quickly so if I didn’t have experience with your pet specifically then I would learn pretty fast and I am a very trustworthy, reliable person. I have just received my pet first aid certificate and also completed an entry level CPD accredited online diploma in pet nutrition. I have just started part time study for my Veterinary Nursing Assistant Level 2 Diploma to qualify as a VNA and during this I will also be doing an entry level canine communication diploma and an entry level pet psychology diploma too. I also will be doing a lot more accredited courses and will upload my certificates when completed. I want to continue learning as much as I can about animals as this is not just a side hustle for me, working with animals is what I am truly passionate about and want I to do in the future, so the more I know, the better! I currently volunteer at a cat shelter also so I have hands on practical care with cats that have a wide range of health issues and needs. At the moment I am only able to offer drop in visits and dog walking however I may be able to offer house sitting in the future but due to my other commitments this is not possible at the moment. I live with my girlfriend and our 2 guinea pigs. When me and my girlfriend go away for a trip, or holiday, David is always keen to look after our piggies. He checks on them once a day, and sends pictures and videos of them having floor time. He has also, on numerous occasions, cleaned their cage without us asking! He ensures that they are well fed and looked after and I always feel that they are in safe hands with David. I also know that David lives with Kiki (his cat), who he spoils! David loves animals in every sense and your animals will be in safe hands
David is great with animals, really knows his stuff. Fern my black lab X spaniel is a big fan, who always really enjoys being looked after by David. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
David has looked after my Sprocker on a few occasions, he knows how to keep a very active spaniel happy and occupied for a couple of hours with means of walking and playing. I trust David and I'd have no hesitation in recommending him to family and friends as he is a very pet friendly person :)

I love to stimulate your pets both mentally and psychically so I will keep them busy throughout my visit with loads of enrichment and play. Whether it’s playing hide and seek with your cat or having loads of energetic fun at the park with your dog, I’m a fun, energised but responsible sitter that will make sure you animals have the best possible time they can!

Availability
I am about to start a new job part time job so when I am aware of the days and times I will update this on my profile, however I likely will only be free early mornings until the afternoon and late in the evenings Monday to Friday and probably free most of the weekends. At the moment I am fully flexible, weekdays and weekends but cannot make permanent commitments until I find out my work schedule. My apologies for this inconvenience and will update asap!
