It all started on my 10th birthday when I got my first pup as a gift - an energetic bundle of joy who spent most of her 13 years with us chasing squirrels. --> I spent summers through high school through to university working on farms - dairy, cattle and horse farms with working dogs around, too many cats to mention, and all sorts of other furry and feathered creatures. --> When I settled in Toronto and raised a family, we had five cats, a couple of dogs (a husky-collie mix, and a chocolate-coloured lab) and two rabbits. --> I've recently lived in Central Asia, and housesat for ex-pats there, looking after a very energetic dog and many cats roaming the house - in fact, I helped one mother feline through a difficult birthing with her litter of kittens. --> I'm self-employed, living in midtown Toronto, with lots of flexibility on time and lead a very active healthy outdoors lifestyle - walking, hiking and cycling every day.

I don't have any specific breed preferences, but given my own active outdoor lifestyle I'm really good with highly energetic dogs that need and want lots of physicality - running, long hikes, great rounds of playing fetch.
A typical day
- walks and hikes around their 'hood, at the park and on the trails - custom outings designed to suit the special needs of your pet: if they need special attention, lots of running, or a slower pace - just enough time and affection to get the exercise they need to stay healthy and happy - I'm always up for playing endless rounds of fetch - sticks, balls, pull toys and chasing squirrels too. - I live next to the ravine trails in midtown and usually head into the trails for an hour or two most weeks, making may way over to Evergreen Brickworks. I'm also out and about around town on walks and know a lot of the parks - from High Park, to Trinity-Bellwoods, to Corktown/Distillery area, the Beaches and even up around the Sunnybrook Stables.
