**Taking a few months off for parental leave. Hope to be back up and running in October. ** Meryl and I live in a nice house near Edgbaston reservoir with an enclosed garden. The reservoir makes for a great spot for walks. We have a 2 year old Shihpoo, Mario, who loves playing with other dogs, although can take a little bit of time to get used to larger dogs. At least one of us works from home on any given day We both predominantly work from home, so there is always at least one person around. We tend to take Mario for a morning walk and then either a lunchtime walk (winter) or an afterwork walk (summer). We'll mix up work with pooch play breaks. We have a nice fenced in garden for the dogs to explore and play. We also have plenty of space for a crate or to create separate spaces for the dogs if they need a breather

Pip had a brilliant stay with David, Meryl and their lovely little dog Mario. I had been apprehensive about the stay as I had not left her with anyone before. I needn’t have worried. I was kept up to date with photos, videos and messages. Pip loved playing with Mario. She came home happy, healthy and tired. A real home from home. I can’t recommend David and Meryl enough. Daisy was so happy to stay with you again overnight. Thank you for looking after her so well. It’s so nice that she comes home tired and happy and it’s lovely to see the video of her playing with Mario 🙂
Dave and Meryl have looked after Elvis several times now. Elvis has been so well looked after and really enjoys going to visit. He had two walks a day, got to play with Mario all the time and has come home thoroughly pooped - asleep since he jumped onto the sofa. We were kept really well-informed with lots of updates and photos. Thanks Dave & Meryl!

Any special needs or behaviours would be good to know. Mario gets along great with smaller dogs but will take a bit of time to get used to a larger dog.
A typical day

I expect our dog Mario will play with yours and they'll tire each other out, but if your dog is at a loose end we have plenty of toys and puzzles for mental stimulation

We both work from home with occasional days in the office - one of us is always home. We fit at least one hour long walk when looking after another dog - Mario and the other dog tend to tire each other out so don't need as many walks
