Ready to Do What I Love <3
Pet care experience
I've had many pets over the years, including species other than mammals, but during high school my neighborhood became a dumping ground for unwanted dogs and occasional cats. I began taking them in and feeding/training/rehabilitating and then finding them new homes. During this time I was also taking small animal care and intro to vet tech classes. Throughout the years I've assisted my family/friends with their dogs/cats/reptiles and of course my own family dog Moshe (since 2014). Be it Pet Sitting, Walking, Brushing, or Bathing (No Cats) I can assist. I've also done shaving but only to my own or family pets. its never anything fancy just a shave down. After many years of working in various fields, I've reached a point where I just want to do what I enjoy and not worry about the money (within reason, I still have bills). I plan on doing pet care and child care full time, but flexibility is key. (both will not be done at the same time to avoid conflict of interest on both parties behalf) !UPDATE! : I will be taking both as long as the circumstances safely permit. Teaching boundaries to both the kids and the dogs. EXCEPT if specially requested by the owner/parent themselves. I will cancel the childcare in the event. I prefer to interact with the fur babies personally as permissible to the task at hand. Responsibilities will always come first and prefer to follow the rules of care to the T. If your luvpup has more special needs than others, I can adjust accordingly. Fostering a fun and loving environment while honing in on a sense of structure and responsibility is my goal. That being said, walkies, snuggles and cuddles for days. If your breed needs more exercise than others, I can make the walks and playtimes longer on the first visit and look into pulling on a longboard or weighted walking vests on future visits (as per the parents preferences and permissions) Any species outside of canine is welcome as long as Rover permits. Guinea Pigs, Snakes, Hamsters, Bearded Dragons, Rats, Tarantulas, Toads and Frogs, I don't mind and have interacted with them before to varying degrees with varying experience. ( Not big on fish as they tend to be a pain) Things like kenneling are as needed or on request as I don't believe in them sitting there for long periods unless its necessary. If someone's there to watch after and interact with them (me), why lock them away? (circumstantially)
Reviews
We added a new puppy to our home and while she's only been on this planet for about 6months, David was able to handle both of my babies which have more energy and weight than a toddler. Each time I've selected boarding, my pups have come home happy and that's what pet owners love to see when entrusting our babies to a sitter. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED once again. I'm not certain why he's so affordable, but even if his rates doubled I'd be willing to pay for his services
Smooth process and good communication, thank you for your help david!
David was great and Kodak really enjoyed his time there! David was timely with drop off and pick up times. He even had Kodak at the dog park with no leash! 😊 I would definitely be booking again with David in the future.
David went above & beyond for Boots! Super responsive & has lots of experience with pets, he has been our best experience on Rover & Boots will definitely be going back.

I simply follow pet care/feeding/medicine instructions and keep up on any training habits the pup parents request (if any). Beyond that the puppers free to have PLENTY of attention and moderate amount of play time as requested. There a small dog park in the back that most owners here take turns using. We can have one on one time when its vacant. This is adjusted based on each individual puppers needs. Obviously a puppy's needs are different from an elder's needs, just as a Chihuahua or Shih-Tzu from an Alaskan Malamute or German Malinois.

!!PLEASE READ!! How do they communicate a need to potty? How are they with other dogs on walks? How do they do with other dogs in an open social environment (ex: small dog parks) Feeding schedule and feeding details. Medications? Chewing habits? Food guarding behavior? Anything behaviors or clothing articles I should avoid? (usually victims of abuse) How are they with hot/cold/rainy weather? Preferences? Any home training you want continued during their stay? How are they with kids? Are you open to training them to do better? (Pet Care is my priority, so no worries if it's a "No")
A typical day
There are a few parks in the area, including TC Jester Dog Park, and plenty of people walk, jog and bike in the area. I'll be looking for new spots to try and and I'm always open to suggestions and new things. If you have preferences, PLEASE, don't hesitate to inform me. With the weather heating up, some puppers may find it difficult to stay out for long periods of time. I'll be stocking up on water in prep.

Update: Due to an increase in bills, i can no longer afford to do pet care full time without an increase in pricing. I will be obtaining a regular job in my old field locally. I'll be available like anyone else would: First thing in the morning and then all evening around 5-6:30 I intend to juggle pet care and a local trucking position. That being said, i may be adjusting my prices to cover paying a roommate for midday walks and check up based on necessity in order to putg pet care first! I have to make this rule now: I've been previously taking in one dog at a time, but i'm going to be opening myself to more. !BUT! I AM STILL AVAILABLE FOR SINGLE CARE ONLY ON REQUEST! The rules are my standard rate will increase: $4/night for Single Care $2/night for Administering Medication (per night in this case is literal as it might be a monthly heartworm/flea & tick tablet)
