Pet care experience
Hi, my name is DJ and I’ve been working with animals full time for over 18 months at the time of writing this. I have a really strong connection with dogs in particular and I typically bond with them very quickly. I’m currently in school to become a fully certified dog trainer and I also do animal photography on the side as well. My partner and I have two dogs of our own at home, a puppy named Kai and a young dog named Baxter. I am currently in Amherst on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, and will be available in the Springfield area outside of that. Thanks for taking the time to read this and have a great day!

A typical day
My focus is to provide your dog with plenty of stimulation and exercise to keep them as happy as can be. I allow dogs to stop and sniff, sniffing has been shown to be very stimulating for dogs due to how large of a portion of their brain is dedicated to their sense of smell. It’s essentially giving their brains a workout. Combining that physical and mental exercise gives them a well rounded source of stimulation which will leave them satisfied and ready to take a nap when they get home.
