I grew up caring for dogs. They were my responsibility as a child. I raised them and trained them and loved them very very much. As an adult I've kept guinea pigs, chickens, cats, and I've dog sat many times for friends and family. Caring for another persons pet is a huge responsibility, and it's also super fun! I will make sure your pups, kitties etc. are well fed, exercised, loved and happy every time.

I have a very large fenced in yard with several mature oaks, redbuds, and poplar. Our home is a slice of paradise for your pup with plenty of space to roam, explore, or play fetch under studious supervision. Indoors we keep cool with central air, and we have mats on which your doggos may relax. Our house sits on a low traffic road which is ideal for long walks. We are truly blessed. If I visit your home, I will treat it with the same respect as I do my own, and I will leave it in a better condition than when I arrived. Furthermore, I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I will prioritize their safety, happiness, and well being.

Information that I would like to know ahead of time about your dog includes their size, breed, temperament with other dogs, any medications/medical conditions, where to take them in case of emergency, food allergies, toys that they have a special attachment to, and any other details that you think might be important.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs! I can take them for walks, play fetch, explore the woods with them, or just pet their fuzzy heads. Having fun with dogs is all about reading their needs and body language and intuiting their desires. Some dogs want to run and explore, while others just want to have a cozy nap. Having raised several dogs, I am quite capable of reading their desires and responding (within healthy and safe boundaries, of course).

I'm currently dedicating my time to starting a fledgling pet care business. I'm also working from home on improving our garden and growing our chicken flock. My schedule is wide open at the moment because all of my projects are self driven and your pet is my top priority.
