I’ve been taking care of dogs for family and friends most of my life. I’ve often house/pet sat for bosses and coworkers, so I have experience taking care of cats, rabbits, fish, etc. I have some experience taking care of sick and elderly dogs and cats, so I am comfortable administering medication if necessary. I love spending time with animals and can’t wait to meet your pets!

Since I rent, I can’t bring your pets home with me. However, I can drop in to walk your dog as often as you prefer and don’t mind working from your place if you need someone to be with your pet during the day.

I would like to know if they have any restrictions on where they can go, how they react around other animals and people, what their favorite activities are, etc. The more detailed your instructions, the better I can take care of your dog.
A typical day
If you’re comfortable with it, I would take your dog to a nearby dog-friendly park, or beach, where they will get to interact with other people and pups. I’ll try to find a fenced in area to throw them a ball and let them run off-leash. In general, I’ll give your dog a lot of love. Otherwise I’ll follow your recommendations since you know your dog best.

Availability
I am in the last year of my PhD program, so my main responsibility at work is to write, which I can do anywhere. That means I’m very flexible and can generally work on your schedule. I spend a lot of time staring at a computer screen, so walking your dog will be a welcome relief.
