Pet care experience
I've raised and loved dogs of all ages from the time I was six. Getting paid to spend all day with them just bad since. In the 7 years since I started in pet care, I've done something like 5000 visits. For several years at the beginning I was based out Chicago, which was a really great environment to start dog walking. Between the pedestrians, traffic, cyclists, and other dogs, I had to keep extra alert and aware of whoever I was handling. Working with animals, new challenges always await, but I've cared for dogs of most breeds, ages and temperaments, in every kind of weather, backyards and penthouses, on busy streets and quiet ones.

David KNOWS dogs. All kinds, all sizes, all moods, David has the skills to be a great dog walker, as well as befriend your lovable pup. I've got 4 back home, and he figured out every single one, as well as kept them feeling calm/happy.
Whether a dog or cat, I always witness Dave interact with animals with a gentle hand, kind heart, and understanding of what it means to play with to care for an animal. His enthusiasm for dogs extends to the point where, when we walk down the street, if he sees a dog he stops and pets it, speaks to it. And they always love it. He can make friends with any dog, even the old grumpy ones. He lived with an old grumpy dog for years and even she befriended him.

A typical day
I tailor visits to each animal. If your pup is older and needs to sniff every tree we pass on our walk, that's what we'll do. Maybe your dog has a puppy brain in an adult body still. That's fine. A longer, brisker walk can help them be all cuddles by the time you're home.

Approximately once per month I travel for my second job typically Thursday-Monday. I typically know these days a month or two in advance and update my calendar accordingly.
