Pet care experience
I've been around dogs my entire life and I cannot get enough of them. I have two dogs that I take care of at home, a White Shepherd and a Border Collie, so I understand the day to day routine of making your dogs happy. I have watched many of my neighbors dogs (and cats) so I have great deal of experience making sure your pets are comfortable in their own homes. When I walk your dog, you can be assured that you know what I'm doing. I don't allow dogs off leash unless we are in an enclosed area, however I love taking dogs on hikes though Blues Hills or Borderland Park to get them out of the house. I'm very flexible and available on short notice and often same day. I'm just here help, and really this will be more fun than work for me,

Over the past few years, David has become like family to us, always stepping in to take over with our pets when we are away. Our 16 year old dog has multiple, complicated medical issues and requires various meds throughout the day. David is completely reliable and trustworthy to handle the various duties that come with 1 dog and 2 cats! You will find no one more caring or better suited to fill you pet parenting shoes when you are away.

I love active dogs! Any dog that is great with fetch is always going to be a great time for both your dog and myself (I have a Border Collie who can play fetch all day long, I'm used to it). I'd also like to know if the dog has any extreme fears to things like thunder or loud cars/motorcylces; any seperation anxiety or if they tend to runaway, so I can be extra cautious.
A typical day
I feel that the best cure for a dogs worring about their owners being away is keeping them distracted and experiencing new things. I have plenty of hiking areas around where and live and I have found that dogs love sniffing around a new trail! I love training as well, so if you have any tricks or behaviors you'd like to reinforce, I have been doing clicker-and-treat-training with my dogs for years.
