Hello! Our names are David and Brooke. We are a young active couple living in a house with in Fairplay, CO and work in Breckenridge, CO. We have a four year Golden Retriever/Shar Pei mix named Loki and two children, ages eight and ten. Loki gets along well with all dogs and would be happy to play with your puppy all day. We have both been around dogs and animals our entire lives and have done a lot of research into training dogs. We will be more than happy to accommodate certain routines and trainings you find important. We are open to young puppies that need to learn the basics as well as older dogs that only want to relax. Send us a message and we will be more than happy to discuss your needs. I have a pretty random schedule so it really varies. If your dog has a special need or cannot be left alone for long that can be arranged ahead of time. I will care for your dog as if it was my own. I can crate the dog if needed. If there are special circumstances we can discuss that and take special precautions.

Absolutely fantastic! David house sat and took care of our two dogs for 10 days. One of our dogs has severe anxiety and is very apprehensive of new people. I had zero expectations of her warming up to him and really just hoped she would come inside from our yard at night knowing David was in the house. I think it took 3 days before David had earned her trust! She even allowed him to leash her and take her hiking, which totally shocked me, I had no expectation of her getting to that point. She has never let anyone do that before. David is so patient and really cares about the dogs he watches. He sent daily updates and photos and was clearly interested in bonding with our dog and getting her to trust him so he could take her on adventures. He left our house immaculately clean as an added bonus.
David is a reliable and empathetic person who enjoys caring for and interacting with animals; especially dogs. He has had and cared for animals most of his life. He has a special connection with many dogs and they trust and feel comfortable with him quickly. David is the perfect person to watch your fur babies when you can’t.
David and Brooke are excellent dog sitters. You can tell how much they absolutely love dogs and they are a great team. They watched my dog Milo for a week and he almost didn't want to leave when I came to pick him up! I would never be concerned leaving a dog in their care.
