Life is better with a friend
Pet care experience
People are a mystery to me, but animals I understand. I have been working in animal care for about five years, now; continuing to build on what I've learned. I have dog training experience; and while working at an animal shelter, I learned how to conduct behavior evaluations on new dogs for potential adoption, and administer medication, including IV fluids. I am also certified in pet CPR. After my last dog passed, I decided to see what life was like with a cat. It became more interesting when that cat was diagnosed with diabetes (which is how I learned to give insulin shots). I was lucky to have him with me for a long time after that, until the age of 13, when it was time to say goodbye. Three years later I was ready for a new friend. My new feline roommate is around 8 or 9 years old, and FIV+. He lives a very normal life, as most FIV cats do. And like most cats, he's the boss, as was his predecessor. Our pets make our lives better. Let's see what we can do in return.
Reviews
David was great!!! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for help with their fur babies.
Zara had a great stay with David, and it gave us such peace of mind. Strong communication, reliability, and goes above and beyond with our pup. Highly recommend!
David arrives promptly and puts full effort and attention into walking dolly.
Our dog loves David, we had such peace of mind knowing that he was able to pop by to feed her and take her to the bathroom when we were going to be out of the house for a bit. Thanks!

Your pet's care is my priority. Just tell me what they need, and I will use my experience to ensure they get the best care that I am able to give them. It is fairly common for our pets to be nervous around strangers, especially men, so I highly recommend a meet and greet before hand; in a neutral location (if possible), so we can determine if we are all a good fit for each other.
Information David B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any special requirements, so I can determine if I am able to help you. Do they have any allergies? Separation Anxiety? Can they say hello to people on walks? And, just as importantly, let me know what they're like. What do they like to do? What don't they like? Whatever you think I should know about them.
A typical day
Your dog will get to play with all their favorite toys. A nice walk to discover new smells and new trails, and maybe a puzzle game or some training for mental stimulation. And we can't forget the mandatory lazy couch time and cuddle session. And your cat will get whatever they deem appropriate, for as we all know: it's a cat's world, and we are just lucky to live in it. If your pet is not of the furry variety, let me know what they like, and I will be happy to do it.
