Ill treat your pet like my own.

Pet care experience

Doing what you love is more rewarding then doing something because you have too. This is why I have decided to put my efforts into full time pet care. I have been involved in walking, training, grooming ( my wife is Corky The Canine Clippers Kid) and overnight/daily care for years. I just never it as a full time career. Until now,,,,, I believe its not only important to establish a relationship with the owner but with their pet as well. This way everyone's needs are met. I am also happy to watch over your home during events ( weddings, funerals, parties ) where attention may be brought upon your home. For me, communication is key. I do my best to tailor the experience to be a pleasant nurturing one, no matter what service I perform I have experience with single and group dog walks, parrots, ( we have 2 dogs, a PWD, Belgian Malinois and our beautiful African Grey parrot ) lizards, fresh water fish, and small mammals. My family has been breeding Portuguese Water Dogs for over 20 years. As you will see my background is impeccable with no bad habits. I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you and your loved ones. Warm regards, David Helpful information,,,,, I work the North Shore area of Chicago. From Skokie/Evanston north to Highland Park are visited. I do prefer to have a meet and greet before we start our relationship. Overnight care includes 4 visits ( morning, mid day, dinner, bedtime ) per day: including 2 walks weather and health of client permitting, feeding, play time and lots of love. Text updates if requested. Its all about what you and your pet needs. Besides keeping an eye out for your home, I will bring in the mail, laundry deliveries and packages. I will also take out the garbage and return the cans. Basically making your house look lived in. We can go over the details when we talk. If I have nothing scheduled, I can also drive for an evening out or other occasions. At times you may request I stay in your home while your away. IF I do, I provide all my own provisions ( towels, food, drinks). I do ask for WiFi access, a comfortable couch and a bathroom with shower. Though I do private walks, I also walk in groups of up to 6 pets at a time. This is for our friends to be social who already enjoy the company of other friends. This is ideal for friends and neighbors who's dogs already know each other and enjoy each others company. Please feel free to ask any questions you have. I'm sure in all this excitement I have left something out. You should also know I am only a call always. Unless my hands are full I answer all calls that are not blocked and return calls within the hour. In this business there are emergency's so of course I am on call 24/7.

Information David B. would like to know about your pet

Everything you can tell me and I mean everything. No detail is unimportant. It is important to have all the up to date info on your pets. Vet info, owners info, temperament, and health, are all needed to know and understand. I LIKE TO DO A MEET AND GREET before we make any commitments.

A typical day

I like to arrange group walks with in a neighborhood for pets that enjoy others company. On group walks I try to make the last pet picked up near a enjoyable area. Woods, open fields, and where pets on leashes are welcome. Your pet will never be off leash unless we have discussed off leash first. For non group single walks or multi pet homes, I stay within your main area always being mindful of your pets health, outside conditions and our agreement. Please let me know how we can make this enjoyable together. I am also big on play. Part of the time spent with your pet may not always be walking. If your loved one needs some attention let me know. I will be taking a CPR class in the coming months.
