Pet care experience
I’ve owned dogs for the last 25 years. Sadly last year my awesome Buster passed away from leukaemia aged only 7. He was my best friend and home is just not the same. I have decided not to try and replace Buster but instead offer my home to look after other people’s bestie in the knowledge that they’re warm cosy walked and treated just like a member of the family - just while you’re away!

This was our first time leaving Leon with someone we didn't know, and we were a bit anxious. But David was so friendly and clearly adores dogs. He kept us updated with photos and how Leon was doing, which really eased our minds. We'd definitely recommend him and will happily leave Leon with him again!
Absolutely perfect. Updated regularly on how Rico was doing. Felt like leaving my boy with a family member. Will definitely recommend and let Rico stay again.

I have a fully fenced garden but will be taking your bestie for several walks each day. Having seen on social media how upsetting it can be when a dog does escape, I will fit an air tag to your dogs collar just in case. They will sleep downstairs preferably in their own bed.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs to cater for. You’ll bring their own bed to help make them feel more at home. Although I’ve set out that I’ll just look after one dog, I would consider more than one from the same household.
A typical day
Your dog will start the day with a good old sniff around the garden followed by a light stroll around the neighbourhood. Stopping off at one of several parks or woodland spaces nearby. They’ll spend most of the day keeping me company before an evening stroll followed by settling down with me to watch a movie or listen to some music. They’ll finish the day checking the garden is still intact before snuggling down in their bed.

My place of work is totally open and dog friendly with numerous dogs accompanying their owners daily. There are open fields to walk run and play in and plenty of attention to be lapped up!
