I have years of experience pet-sitting and house-sitting in both Durham and Asheville. I enjoy hiking, walking, and running and would love to take your dog on adventures with me, but am also happy to spend time at home giving them love! I have availability throughout the day as well as on weekends. My family has always seen animals as part of the family and I continue to see pets as being worthy of immense care. I would want to get to know your dog on a personal level and hopefully develop a lasting relationship. I recognize that it is a big deal to trust someone else with your pet and want to communicate openly about concerns, expectations and hopes in order for everyone to have a happy and positive experience. Davi is an extremely responsible and caring person. Davi took my sweet pug, Meatloaf, for a walk one afternoon and Meatloaf absolutely loved her. My favorite thing about Davi is that she was on time! She clearIy cared about meeting my dog and spending time with my Meatloaf. I would HAPPILY choose Davi as my Rover dog walker again.
We loved having Davi take care of our Elmo! She was enthusiastic, prepared, responsible, and very professional. It’s hard to find someone you feel comfortable leaving your pet with, but Davi finally brought us some peace of mind knowing that our baby was in good hands!

Within my home, I welcome cat-friendly dogs. I am sure to leave out plenty of water, and take time to be sure there are no items around the house that could be harmful to a pet. In my own home or within a clients’ home, I want to be sure to uphold any behavioral standards that are already in place, such as commands or restricting animals from certain spaces. Most of all, I will spend time with your animal and make sure they are getting the attention and affection they need and deserve!

I would like to know how they get along with people and other animals, whether they are house trained, how often they go out, whether they can be let off the leash and if they have any allergies, ailments, anxieties, behavioral issues, or dietary restrictions. No breed preferences.
A typical day
I like hiking on the Eno River and in Duke Forest. I enjoy walking around parks such as Forest Hills and Duke Park. If your dog is social, we could venture to the dog park to play with some other pups! I would take a dog friend to loco pops for a special pupsicle!

I am currently balancing multiple part time jobs, and as such have a lot of flexibility within my routine. I care for my own cat, Lentil, as well as the chickens at my home. I can work with you to create a visitation schedule that ensures your pet will get plenty of attention!
