I grew up with dogs at my parent's house since being in first grade so feel very comfortable around them and have also volunteered at shelters in the past.

Dave would make a responsible pet caregiver. His family owned two cocker spaniels when he was growing up, and he took great care of them-we would see him walk the dogs all over the neighborhood. After college he volunteered at Pawmetto Lifeline in Columbia and animal shelters in Charleston and Charlotte.

My goal will to make sure the client's animal feels comfortable and can relax while their owner is away. I try to be gentle and show a loving side to any dog/cat while being around them.

I do not need any advance information except for what the dog enjoys doing activity wise and any special precautions that need to be taken.
A typical day
I really enjoy outdoor areas like the Whitewater Center and all the various parks around Charlotte. I live off the rail trail so love going on walks there as much as possible. In addition, playing fetch with a ball is an activity I enjoy with dogs.

Availability
I work full-time but have availability after 6PM Monday through Thursday and after 2PM on Fridays. My weekends are usually flexible and keep Sunday as my errand/chores time.
