Pet care experience
My name is David. I love taking care of animals! I grew up with a Lhasa Apso named Milo, and currently have a sweet cat named Cordelia, who I’ve had for the last 14 years. I love caring for pets and have experience caring for my friends and family’s dogs and cats while they are away. I also worked at a doggy day care in the past, a wonderful experience that I’ll always treasure. I’ve been active on Rover for about 5 years now, and have had a great experience watching both cats and dogs. I look forward to caring for your furry friends! I just recently moved to downtown New Haven so I can do drop-ins and pet sitting around there. I work from home so am available during the week and also on most weekends. I also frequently visit the Hartford and Farmington area on weekends.

Best dog sitter I’ve ever had! He always sends lots of pictures. Gives us lots of updates. He isn’t afraid to ask questions if he’s not sure about something. And, most importantly, the dogs are always happy and well cared for! Everything you could ever want in a sitter!

Meetups in advance are the best way to ensure I know everything there is to know.
A typical day
There are so many fun activities when it comes to pets. There’s playtime, petting time, walking, and then just sitting together enjoying each other’s company. Letting other pets play together is also fun to do. I love taking walks in the woods and on hiking trails if there are any nearby.
