When I was five my parents brought home our first dog, Amber :) She immediately became the star of everything I would draw, say and dream about. She had a handful of hilarious phobias and quirks (she feared wood), and I would race home after school to be with her. A dog is the center of a five year old boys universe. After she passed, we had many other amazing dogs in our home over the years who we loved with everything we got. But whenever I prep to care for someone else’s dog, I remember to bring the Amber love, the boundless unwavering attention kind of love only a child can have for a pet. Because the dog in my care is someone else’s Amber. My philosophy is to operate as though their Amber is with me not because they needed my service, but because they chose to spoil their Amber that day. Doggie Disney with Dave Day, if you like. And it is this approach that has kept people returning to me with their best friends time and again for the past three years. My availability is weekdays and weeknights, I love every temperament and size, and I’m particularly good with dogs who require lots of play! I look forward to taking care of you and your furriest family member!
