After 4 decades of dogs in my life I truly believe life is to short not to have a one. That being said, I know the challenges of making sure your pup is getting the exercise, attention and stimulation they need daily to be clam, relaxed and happy family additions. Besides oodles of various dogs as pets I have had, I was also a volunteer raiser for the Pacific Assistance Dog Society (www.pads.ca) in BC, Canada. An amazing organization that raises assistance dogs. They afforded me the chance to raise several puppies and as a bonus, passed onto me a wealth of dog knowledge about behaviours, stressors and how and why dogs tick.
