My name is Darvel and I'm a dog trainer/walker/ I've been working with animals for nearly 6 years and I'm excited to spend more time with the canines I'm so passionate about. I have three dogs of my own and have had dogs all of my life. I'm trustworthy and only ever use positive methods when working with dogs, whether it's while walking or sitting. I'm very flexible to your dog's needs, whether they need short walks or long ones, and even a brisk jog is something I'm willing to do to get your pup that extra little bit of exercise. I'm very dependable and and can answer any questions about behavior or training better than most. I can guarantee it. Love and affection are also part of my interactions with your dogs, of course. But if training isn't something you're at all interested in, I'm more than happy to sit with your dog and care for them however you would like. I currently work from home with very flexible hours so I'm available pretty much any time, any day to care for your pups or kitties! Please help brighten my day so I can brighten yours! I'm very attentive to the needs of our pets and the wishes of my clients, whatever they may be. I follow my clients' guidelines on everything from amount of exercise, diet, treats, furniture, playtime and everything in between!

Your animals will be in great hands. My 2 pups (and 2 kittens) can be destructive at times while I work my night shifts, but Darvel helps keep them safe by cleaning up some things they destroy (like splintering wood from a cat post 😅)
Darvel has been doing drop in visits for my two pups Bluey and Honey for the past couple weeks later at night. He’s responsive to their needs and it gives me a peace of mind knowing that they’re well cared for when I’m at work. He’s professional and communicates more than others I’ve used in Rover. Highly recommended!
All I can say is wow! Darvel did such a good job with our two dogs Miley and Mira and our cat Mr diggles. He's so compassionate and friendly and easy to talk to. We never had a single problem with our pets while they were in his care. He even came to personally help us catch one of our dogs that had gotten loose. (We tipped him, of course). He's great to work with and very knowledgeable. Never made us feel stupid for any question or ashamed of our dogs' behavior or anything like that. Highly recommend
Darvel was incredible! We used him so much for sitting and walking our dogs. He's got a way with canines and it seems like he always has an answer for why they do they things they're doing and even helped us with some training! We moved away, sadly. But if we could afford it, we'd have him fly out and live near us just to take care of our animals. Lol.
