Cats defined my youth; dogs my adulthood. When I found myself playing tug-of-war with a dog toy clenched in my teeth three inches away from my buddy's growling Rott-Shepherd mix, I knew that dogs would be my future. Because I work seasonally, I don't have one of my own which is why I want to be a walker. I'm single with no children and have a lot of love to share--truth is, I need dogs as much as they need me. I'm gentle, spirited, athletic, warm and patient. I was honored to take care of my friend's Weimaraner for three weeks, was a dog walker in Denali National Park, and relish all animal encounters during my day. (I once befriended a ground squirrel for the bulk of an afternoon!)
