I am a 24 year old college graduate who absolutely loves dogs. I have two chihuahuas of my own and have interacted with dogs my whole life. I live in a house not too far from NYC with my mother who has provided dog sitting services in the past. I have been a sitter on rover for almost 3 years now and it has helped guide me towards some career changes. I was working as a part-time dog sitter along with being a full-time paralegal after graduating with a bachelors degree in criminal justice. However, I was laid off in April 2016 and decided to work in pet care full-time. Currently, I am enrolled in a program to become a certified dog trainer. My home is quiet, calm, and cozy. I live on the first floor which makes it perfect for senior dogs as well. We have a spacious backyard and our neighborhood is very dog friendly. I dedicate most of my time to caring for the dogs staying with me, therefore I provide lots of attention and am able to keep a consistent schedule. If need be, I use baby gates to separate my guests whenever I step out or during feeding time. But besides that they are pretty much free to roam wherever they'd like. Additionally I require my guests to be house broken and/or to be trained using a wee wee pad (unless it's a puppy who is still being house broken). I am an ultimate dog lover and would be happy to care for your pup!
