Have had a stubborn lovely beagle for 9 years. I don't consider myself a professional trainer, but I care very much for them. Family and friends see how much I worry about my dog that I have recently been trusted with a family member's dog while they go through a hard patch in their lives. The dog became very comfortable with me in no time. I am a stay at home mom, however 2/3 of my kids are in school and I have spare time that at times I get bored. My husband supports me with my dog sitting idea and he works from home. Dogs will not be left home alone at any time. Big fenced in yard, dogs are allow to go out and come back in at any time. Will provide your dog with daily walks, at least 3 a day. My kids love playing fetch with dogs and running in yard with them, your dogs will never feel alone while your gone. I have a beagle, however he is old, doesn't do much. I recently adopted a 2 year old dog, very friendly, he plays with my kids most of time, he tries to play with beagle but beagle ignores him. I have no crates in house, however if you want to have your dog in crate i will respect that.
