Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, horses, bunnies, Guinea pigs etc and have always had furry friend in my life for the last 25years (I’m 35) . I currently have a small Chiweenie named Phloid who’s 8 years old. He is definitely my child, he is well trained and gets along with other dogs and children. (he will most likely be a part of any house sitting/boarding stays so let’s do a meet and greet!) I’m super athletic and love to go for walks and play with your pup. I’m also absolutely the person that will know the dogs name before the humans I encounter so I’m so excited to be able to meet more pups (and kitties) through Rover!

Booked Darlene fairly last minute and she was so quick to pick everything up! Our animals definitely had a blast with her and I loved the check ins and photos she sent. 12/10 recommend ??
Darlene is the best. She takes such great care of the pups, communicates clearly and quickly (with pics!) the entire time, and she proved that she can deal with surprises and tough situations. We had a major plumbing leak in the house while she was there, which she did not sign up for, and not only cleaned up the mess but worked with us to get a plumber out there and get it resolved. Best dog sitter ever. (Note: I was kinda tempted to write a bad review so that she’s more likely to be available for us! Thank you, Darlene!)
Darlene absolitely loves animals and will treat your dog like her own! Leaving a pet with a stranger can be scary, but your dog is in great hands with Darlene. Piece of mind that your dog is being loved and cared for while your away is something she thoroughly understands.
Darlene is an excellent dog sitter! She always does an awesome job. Our dogs are kind of high maintenance and picky, but they love her and are excited to see her every time.

I live in an apartment with a large deck where I leave the door open so we always have fresh air and even play fetch. My neighborhood is quiet and has lots of grassy yards for pups to sniff around.

Let me know everything about your pup, I’d rather have too much info than not enough. Especially, Any special needs, from schedules to words/actions they like. I want to make their stay with me no different than their stay with you. Also, let me know if they are good with other dogs,cats, children/other people since I do enjoy going to dog parks if they would like it too!
A typical day
I am super active and can take your dog for long walks or even hikes if they are able. I love going to the OB dog beach and fiesta island dog park too. We can even stroll around balboa park too!

Availability
I have a flexible schedule as a sales person. My mornings are open and I typically leave my house from 11-4 and then am home for the night (this does vary and can be customized for your furchild). Always Plenty of time for food, walks and snuggles. My weekends are mostly open as well.
