I've had at least one dog for the last 13 years and currently have one. She is older now, but I got herwhen they she was a puppy, so we've been together a long time and we've gone through a lot. Dogs generally feel comfortable with me fairly quickly and I love going for walks or even just hanging out with them for awhile. I have had everything from a Great Dane to a 45 pound German Shepherd/Husky mix, so I am fairly experienced with all sizes, except for small dogs. I do think the little dogs are cute, I just never felt comfortable getting one too small because of the Great Dane. I had this irrational fear he would step on a tiny dog.
