Hi there you awesome pet owner! (Please note I will be in the mountains without service Thursday April 25 until Friday afternoon. I will reply asap). If you are new to Rover, welcome! Please read this in its entirety before contacting me and be prepared for a meet and greet so that we can discuss your pet/housesitting needs. I would like to get to know you and your fur-baby and if there will be more than one person in the meeting please ensure they have read this and looked over the rates/policies. I am a very experienced pet-sitter and my rates reflect that. One of the amazing traits of dogs and cats is that they remind us to slow down and enjoy the moment as well as to laugh and not take life quite so seriously! I feel very blessed and grateful that I am able to pet-sit as part of my living. I have experienced most sizes, types, and temperaments of dogs and cats, and have even taken care of birds, chickens, and bunnies! While I am sitting for you I stay in the home 24/7, except to go to the store, run an errand, etc. I do not take care of numerous other dogs or cats while I am sitting for yours. About me: I have over 25 years of experience taking care of dogs and cats. I fell in love with animals as a young girl and that respect and appreciation for them has only grown over the years. I have also been the photographer and volunteer for various charity events including the amazing Best Friends of Animals Society. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and was working in the corporate world for many years. I am semi-retired now and have a part-time job that I work remotely. Your dogs will have frequent bathroom breaks, walks, snuggles, tummy rubs and playtime in and outside. Your home will be kept clean and treated with the utmost care. I can also water plants, bring in mail, provide waste removal in the yard, and take trash out if needed. If there are more specific tasks, such as giving medication or taking your pet to the groomer or vet, we can discuss those in the meeting. I do try to go above and beyond for my clients. (Please note: I have a 2 night minimum for housesitting). My contact hours are 9 AM - 8 PM for your request and to set-up our meet and greet, I do respond ASAP.
