I have a 4 year old Whippet-Chihuahua and love spending my time playing and snuggling with him. I can't wait to meet your fur-buddies either! I've had dogs for most of my life, including a handful of puppy upbringings. I love their personality, especially when they play. I'm not the squeamish type either, and have no problem making sure your home is cleaned up if your dog happens to have an accident. My main goals in a half hour session is to make sure your pup is fed, walked, and just a little worn out! I am available somewhat flexible hours during the week since I am a student, but mainly after 3 pm. Feel free to request a time and I'll let you know what I can do.

This was our first time using a house/dog sitter and Darien was the perfect choice! She totally put our minds at ease with her reliability, care, responsiveness and with her updates on how Franny, our 9 year old Greyhound, was doing along with pictures while we were away for a week visiting family. Darien has been a god send for Lucy and I. She is dependable, thorough, and detail oriented. She was so helpful in a small crisis with lucy and handled the stress with ease. I look forward to her report cards each day she walks with my dog and has been available for communication in regards to changing schedules, etc. I recommend Darien for anyone looking to have their dog walked, and if they wanted a house sitter, I have full confidence in her to stay in my home. Darien gets 5 stars. She has provided sufficient detail about her visits (3 Thursdays in a row so far) and she is very prompt to reply when communicating. I love seeing the photos she captures of my sweet Pug dog during her visits.
Darien has been great with my grumpy Shih Tzu! She has been walking him for a week and provides me with excellent detailed updates and photos each day.

I require a meet and greet for all prospective clients, and must have at least 72 hour notice of the booking for this reason. I do not have a breed preference. I like a dog with personality (not like many of them DON'T have them), and have a particular affinity for the silly ones. Let me know if your dog has any triggers or warning behaviors before I visit please.
A typical day
-Walks: Cougar Mountain; Marymoor, Renton, and Bellevue Dog Parks (off leash only if we're both confident), Kirkland Waterfront -Fetch: This is my absolute favorite game to play with my dog! -Tug o' War -Belly and Ear Scratches and Cuddles If they have any other favorite games or spots, I would be happy to do those!
