There has always been a dog or cat (or both!) in my home since the day I was born. I’ve raised, trained, and loved a number of critters from king shepherds to pugs, fluffy Himalayan cats to energetic Siamese. There have been a handful of rescue birds and mice along the way. I’ve cared for medically complex animals, and been there for them at the end of their journey. A co-op placement at a veterinary hospital affirmed my love of animals and a desire to ensure that each four-legged friend has an awesome life.
